Bagwell comes back at the Astros camp

Jeff Bagwell a popular and well known player of the baseball returns to the Houston Astros team after a long break. He has arrived back at the spring training. Bagwell has undergone a surgery of his right shoulder in June and it was said that he was too hurt to play and hence an insurance claim was also filed for the same by the Astros. Now the news of his return inculcated the spirit of happiness all over. It seemed as the sun brought the rays of excitement for all his fans and dear ones who had been wishing best for there favorite star. Bagwell is the franchise's leader in home runs (449), RBIs (1,529) and runs (1,517). He returned late last season and could bat but could not throw. He went 1-for-8 with an RBI in the World Series. Doctors after examining Bagwell stated that his shoulder was damaged and was impaired; the team could not expect him to be productive hence he should take rest till he gets well.

Bagwell is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Killingworth, Connecticut who did his graduation from the Xavier High School of Middletown. Bagwell played commendable soccer as well as baseball in his early times. Bagwell has emerged as one of the most respected player of the Astros history. He has been with the Astros from a long time from 1990s and 2000s. He maintains an excellent record history as he has captivated a number of awards and honors during his brilliant career. In his debut season in the 1991, he achieved the National League Rookie of the year award. Bagwell has dealt with the arthritic shoulder since 2001 and says the team has never raised the issue until now. He batted no lower than .266 in the four years prior to 2005, when he missed 115 games following shoulder surgery. Now his return to the team after having rest is expected high.
