Awkwardly, Timmy Smith a standout of Super Bowl rushing record in 1998 brought a notorious name for his organization after having been after allegedly trying to sell cocaine to a covert drug agent. He along with his brother Chris was detained by the cops and is expected to face the charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine. It’s incredible that while investigating the cops found 2.8 pounds of cocaine and unspecified assets worth about $100,000.

How shameful it is for this record-holder who rushed for a Super Bowl-record 204 yards and two touchdowns in the Redskins' 42-10 victory over the Denver Broncos in 1988. Within few minutes he broke the previous mark of 191 yards by Marcus Allen of the Raiders in Game XVIII and within no minutes he marred his reputation and dignity. He set the standard by which all other running backs will be measured in the Super Bowl and this season he set the standard for spoiling his own life and the lives of youth by selling cocaine. Smith was never heard from before -- or after -- his record performance and this season out of nowhere he emerged and startled everybody.
