The New York Yankees, who have become more confident by each passing year, seems to have become more businesslike and more dangerous with eight straight wins and increasing attendance. In the Saturday game the Yankees exceeded the 4 million plateau in home attendance. Their increasing number of fans and their dominion has made them the third major league franchise to reach this landmark. The Yankees have boosted their season total to 4,035,560 fans. That was time when the Yankees had trouble attracting 1 million to the stadium. The team’s increasing popularity has attracted the greatest fans in the world. In the Sunday game the Yankees are expected to break Toronto's AL record for attendance. Three cheers for the team and the fans.
