THREE PACERS IN ONE OF THE WORST BRAWLS IN U.S. SPORTS HISTORY

Hearings for Ron Artest, Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson after having been criminally charged for their involvement in last year's brawl with the Detroit Pistons are scheduled to go before Judge Julie Nicholson for a pre-trial hearing. If they plead guilty or no contest to misdemeanor assault and battery they will be abandoned from 93 days in jail and a $500 fine. Based on their lack of criminal backgrounds and the factors of the case community service is also a good source of their attitude rehabilitation. Such a decree will allow them to provide their services to the community. The way these players spoiled the image of Detroit in the Palace of Auburn Hills in the final minute of a blowout win by the Pacers against the Pistons charging into the stands and exchanging punches with fans dominated the sports world.
