LAWYER MILLOY’S BROKEN THUMB PLIGHT

Even though Lawyer Milloy got hurt in last weekend's game at Tampa Bay, he didn't miss a play and finished with a team-leading 10 tackles and a sack. Buffalo's veteran player continued to play with the same frustration of what he went through last year, when he was forced to miss the first five games of the season with a broken right forearm. When Milloy discovered that during halftime his thumb has broken, he still tried to play in a composed way. His meticulousness becomes apparent when he quoted "I worked so hard to get myself in optimal playing shape ... and that's the reason I decided to go ahead and play all-out the rest of the game and worry about the consequences later.”
