BARRY BONDS PLANS TO REST IF GIANTS ELIMINATED

If the Giants are mathematically eliminated from contention in the National League West, Bonds will go back into rehab for strengthening his vulnerable right knee. It is but obvious that health should always be a main consideration since it will earn him more jeer and scorn if he go out there and do something dumb, which in turn can also cost him his position for the entire winter. The left-handed slugger, who has 707 homers to his credit, knows how to retain the supremacy of his bright career. With a dragging leg most of the time, he has electrified the team and has given his best. At times with his swollen and achy leg he has even struggled limping after balls in the outfield.
