Andre Barrett back in the Raptors

The professional player of the basketball Andre Rashawd Barrett commonly called Andre Barrett has been announced to join back NBA. This imminent sport star is expected to join the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors signed the free agent to consecutive 10-day contracts March 15 and 25. According to the sources he has signed a 10 days contract just recently on March 15 according to which he would be joining the Toronto Raptors with whom he has been playing at the average of 18.7 minutes per game. Barrett had signed a contract of 10 days with the Phoenix Suns but was released from his second contract on March 14 and the very next day he entered a new contract. This time he has signed a contract with the Raptors with whom he had already been a playing. Barrett has appeared in nine games for Toronto, averaging 4.8 points and 2.9 assists in 15.9 minutes. He had a career-high 15 points March 31 versus Phoenix and a season-best seven assists April 2 versus New Orleans/Oklahoma City.

Barrett began his career with the Houston Rockets, going on to play for the Orlando Magic. Through out his career he has been a low player who has been playing with an average of 3.1 points per game. Most probably Barrett will play for this whole season and even the next season i.e. for the remainder season of 2005-06 and the 2006-07 seasons. Possibilities are there to see him in the next season but there is no assurance till the next date. Let us see what we find next negative or positive???? But let us hope for the best.

Alarm for selection…….

NFL coaches, scouts, personnel directors and general managers are a bit worried as April 28 is near and the time is going to be tough for them. For the coming three weeks they will be sheltered in gloomy conference hall and will assess the fitness of 300 or more college football players who are trying to earn their livelihood the NFL. The major reason for their tension is the selection of the players. They will have to make selections they're not sure about of young players they can't know enough about. Many of these players will become albatrosses around their selectors' necks. Except from this NFL draft is a time of fun, suspense and sensations. More than 300 selections will be made some will be highly reputed and some might be making their debuts in NFL. It is going to be difficult time for all as every owner and coach wants the best for their teams but sometimes finances don’t allow and sometimes health becomes a hurdle. For 2006 season it is believed that many faces will be introduced, this reason is bothering management of the teams. All football fans are keenly waiting for NFL’s regular season to cheer up for their favorite teams and players. I wish all the teams a very good luck.
